Biospheres week 1
The two biosphere which were kept indoors and their “growth progress”.
My three Wolpertingers have been living in their individual biospheres now for one week. As expected, the biospheres are at this point still all in very similar stages of development. We have had some heavy rain this week, so I was a bit worried that the biosphere placed outside in the wild might be drowning at this point, but that luckily was not the case.
Cress seeds were the first ones to sprout, now followed by the dried peas. When looking at the back side of the biospheres, (especially the ones that are standing in front of a window, facing the sunlight) I was able to see that a lot of new life was emerging also from the flower seeds buried in the soil.
Also the centers of the salad stumps have started to develop some new leaves. I’m exited to see what will happen to these during the next week when the outside temperature will rise over 30°C degrees.
