Biospheres week 2
The second week of my project was particularly hot and my Wolpertingers have truly been sweating in their biospheres. Unlike during the prior week, the differences in the stages of the development of the individual biospheres are really starting to show.
There has been a lot of growth happening in all the jars during the past week, but the one which is being nourished by me directly literally outgrew the other two. While I was “letting it breath” by removing the lid it grew so much that I could not close the jar anymore without forcing the plants back down inside. I hence decided to keep it open from here on out, and I’m even considering to turn it every once in a while so that it would get sun light more evenly from all sides.
We’re expecting some rainy weather again with the start of the third week of my experiment and I’m hoping to see the biosphere which is being kept outside to catch up a bit with in it’s growth.
